Brooklyn Demands Guest House / by Tim Nuttall

Guest House is shacking up with another streaming service. This time it's Brooklyn On Demand, a service “bringing the Brooklyn indie film scene to the world.”

Our critically acclaimed short film, Guest House, starring Michael Gross (Family Ties), Heather Lind (AMC’s Turn, Demolition costarring Jake Gyllenhaal), and Mark Gessner (IFC’s Benders) is the story of Lance Wesley who loses his job and fiance on the same day. Depressed and downtrodden, he moves back into his parents' Guesthouse where he spent his youth. As he fights constantly with his frustrated and patient-less father, relics from his past pay him a visit. Will his past propel him forward?

Brooklyn On Demand has some great films to offer. We especially enjoyed the dark comedy, Mr. Lamb, and its sad yet quirky main character, Myrna, Jazzsoon: Portrait of a Brooklyn Hustler that takes a closer look at the eccentric man who made waves on the internet, and Dry Me Crazy, a hilariously awkward short about why a laundromat can be the best place of solace when you’re feeling lonely.
